In communities across America, we see our younger generations dealing with issues of suicide, gang violence, and traffic accidents, which in many cases, result in death. CryOut! uses "The Reconcile" event, a space where we can use art and workshops to create dialogue.
Workshops (Choose One To Attend)
1. Teen Suicide Awareness
For parents to learn about symptoms and signs that their kids are struggling with depression.
2. Student Workshop
Open group discussion for students lead by Teen Link. Teen Link is a program that empowers youth to make positive and self-respecting decisions about their lives and provides resources and assistance to help them.
3. Police Department Traffic Accidents
Police Department Traffic Accidents. Renton police will talk to students about distracted driving and the impact it has on students and do interactive demonstrations where the community can ask questions regarding their standard operating procedure for pulling someone over.
